Golden Sesame Dressing

London Nutritionist Kay Ali's Golden Sesame Dressing recipe for ovulation

Have you ever seen a green salad with so much swagger? No, me neither. This salad is dripping in golden goodness. Tahini x Turmeric x Ginger x Honey. All the nourishment for a happier, less inflammatory luteal phase. Move over seed cycling, this summer my sesame seasoning is in town. And let me tell you, it tastes so good it’s here to stay (OK, but don’t forget you’ll still need to eat sunflower seeds for full post ovulation seeding).

Use on salads, as a dip and even on your favourite fish for a super nourishing, mouth-watering kick. Ooph, pass it over.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup tahini

  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil (you’re not doubling up here with the tahini, the toasted element gives the dressing depth)

  • 1 inch ginger, grated

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1/2 cup water (add more if needed for a runny consistency)

  • Pinch salt & black pepper

Method

  1. Blitz in the blender. Enjoy
